SO - significant other

In me and my SO's early dating years, we used to watch a lot of B-rated (6-10/10 ratings) anime together. I guess with our lives becoming so busy and as we grew older, our tastes changed and now only watch only A-rated (8-9/10 ratings) and mainstream (DB Super, Naruto, Gundam) anime together like One Punch Man, Erased, Steins Gate, etc.

So I was wondering, what kind of anime do you and your SO watch together? Maybe even recommend some older/newer anime that me and my SO might like?

(In all honesty, I miss the early days of watching bad anime together but I guess it can't be helped. We even watched School Days together xD The look on his face was priceless.)

If I had an SO, we'll watch the best of the best. We'll watch Paranoia Agent so we could discuss the shit out of it later.

Well, you've seen more anime than I have and also have a SO, so I'm pretty useless here. You've succeeded me at life.

I think it's mostly an American thing? Maybe it's an American thing? Maybe because I'm too old (I'm 30)? T_T

We haven't watched much together, yet.
I think it was just Boy and the Beast, seemed like a nice movie that we could both enjoy, and Tetsuko no Tabi, as we both like trains (although she is much more of a fan).

If I had one, I would watch a long running anime with him while cuddling in sofa/bed xDDD I prefer to watch short anime alone.

I'm single but if I were to show a potential love interest/significant other an anime it'd probably be Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal. It's short and poignant.
Take care of yourself

I really enjoyed watching Higurashi with my boyfriend, because he likes the detective mystery genre, and I'm a sucker for horror anime, so Higurashi fits perfectly for both. ^_^
We also liked Shuffle! and B gata H kei.

We've watched quite a few shows together. 98% of the anime he's seen, he's watched it with me. :D

Boku dake ga Inai Machi, Death Parade, Nodame Cantabile, Steins;Gate, Bartender to name a few. We also watch shitty ecchi shows to make fun of them.

What does SO mean? is it the same as "bae" or whatever? Why we can't we just call them GF / BF?

But no my GF is not into anime. At least she understands why I like it though.

SO is an acronym for significant other.

The only anime I've watched with my girlfriend so far was She and Her Cat: Everything Flows. By the end, she was sobbing violently and uncontrollably and continued for about an hour...

I once watched Kara no Kyoukai with my then girlfriend. We broke up less than a month later. Coincidence? I think not!

If you and your SO bond over philosophical discussions, Paranoia Agent is perfect.
